About the author

My name's Lemuel. Welcome to my blog. Here I'll be recording my travels, the sights and sounds of the world. I love to make my friend John take pictures of everything I see, especially my very, very long letters. With my trusty, handsome, brilliant friend John by my side, there's no place we can't go. When you get bored of trying to decipher my handwriting, check out his twitter. He's the greatest.

    Dear Gulliver and John,

I will attempt to paraphrase the long comment to which you referred. You washed ashore in Australia not just from a shipwreck, nor simply the past, but from a subtly different world.

Our worlds interact through what is regarded in this world as fiction; therefore, while your stories are known here, they are believed to be a work of fiction written by a different hand.

Due to the nature of the way our worlds interact, you cannot read these works which confuse yourself; you two are not the only ones in your predicament, but we cannot quite explain the phenomenon ourselves.

After some research, we have learned how to send you back to your own time and your own world; it has been tried and proven safe and effective.

We are already able to do so for you, Gulliver, and will soon, after the collection of a little more data, be able to do so for you, John.

Ideally, we would like your input into the nature of where and when and in what circumstances we send you back to your home world. If you have any questions or concerns, merely mention them and I or one of my colleagues will address them.

    All the best,

PS I hope this message is sufficiently brief for John’s tastes.

Silver, I’ll make this short. We’re good guys. We like your friend Gulliver. We want to send him home. We can. Ask him if he’ll let us. Okay?
